Swedish health care services provider Feelgood Svenska AB (OMX Stockholm: FEEL) said on Thursday (21 August) that it has signed a firm agreement to acquire the health care company Haluxa AB.
The purchase price for all shares of Haluxa amounts to SEK37.8m in cash and 20m shares of Feelgood Svenska.
The deal is based on a memorandum of understanding announced initially in June.
The acquisition will strengthen Feelgood Svenska's position as a leading supplier of company health care services, and will expand its staff from the current 590 persons by some 40%. The acquisition will also increase the group turnover by some SEK200m in 2008.
Feelgood, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides health care services to Swedish companies and private consumers. The company has some 590 employees and reported sales of SEK475m in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.79 Swedish kronor (SEK).
