Swedish health information sites could be improved - report.(Brief Article) - Nordic Business Report

NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-14 May 2002-Swedish health information sites could be improved - report (C)1994-2002 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

There is no Swedish-language web site for health information that fulfils all the requirements from the European Union, according to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.

The board has reviewed 35 sites and found that there is much that can be improved. None of the 35 Swedish sites completely fulfils the requirements. The requirement that is the least fulfilled is to inform about the financial side of the site - only five of those reviewed clearly gave information on how the web site was paid for.

The entire review was presented at a recent conference, reported TT, a Swedish news service.
